Both are correct, depending on where you live, one spelling is more common than the other. Here in America, gray is much more common, while grey is more common in the rest of the English-speaking world.

Ah, a question for the ages. Probably for the same reason that men try to rescue women – because history is full of these stories. The bad boy reformed by a good woman, the damsel in distress rescued by her brave knight. Isn’t that the basis of a thousand stories we’ve all heard?
There are people who crave the drama of these tales, and will seek it out, consciously or not.
They take the phrase “I’ll only break your heart” as a challenge rather than a warning, wanting that forbidden fruit. These people are either silly or hoping for drama.
Either way, steer clear. This isn’t an epic tale of romance, it’s real life. Keep in mind that Romeo and Juliet were together for less than a week. Real people who just meet and fall in love and go with it? They’re together for a lifetime.
