Many teens will soon be leaving home for the first time as they venture off to college. What advice do you have for them?
@SHannitysHair

Dear Hair,

My top piece of advice would be to remain true to yourself. I know that sounds hokey, but it can be hard when you’re away from home for the first time and want to make friends.

Also, don’t go home or call (text, Skype, etc.) your parents just because you want to. One of the most important aspects of college is making friends. That can’t happen if you’re with your parents while everybody else is socializing. However, remember that your parents are still there when you really need them.

Finally, have fun (but not too much). Don’t be the kid who is drunk all the time and has to explain their grades to their parents. Don’t be the kid who gets incredible grades but is always in the library instead of making friends. It’s all about balance.

How long before the government buys vowels for people who aren’t doing well on (Wheel of Fortune)?

@NathanWurtzel

Dear Nathan,
Are you going to be starting a VowelPAC? I’m sure people would go for it. It’s a sad state of affairs, isn’t it?

How do I console myself over Affleck as Batman? I’m getting Clooney spasms.
@JDTheBard

Dear JD,
I’m struggling with Affleck as Batman, too. I’m going to try to keep an open mind and see… maybe he will do an ok job. When he doesn’t (OK, I guess my mind isn’t that open, mostly because I just find him annoying regardless of acting ability), go back to watching the older movies. They will always be there for you. Stupid Affleck.
